The Lycée Français International d'Anvers, an accredited establishment of the Odyssey group and partner of the AEFE, is looking for a Science Teacher, coordinator of the IGCSE teaching modules, to join our passionate team.
The position is available for the start of the 2026 academic year.
Job Description:
PTo support its development, the LFI Antwerp is looking for a science teacher, coordinator of the IGCSE teaching modules. By joining our dynamic andpassionate, you will be responsible for teaching science in secondary schools (middle school through direct teaching and high school via the CNED), following the French school curriculum, while integrating the teaching methodologies specific to IGCSE.
Responsibilities:
Deliver science courses at secondary level, implementing innovative teaching approaches recommended by the University of Cambridge.
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Cambridge IGCSE programmes, ensuring adherence to high academic standards.
Work closely with the teaching team to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching.
Participate in the development of educational programs adapted to the needs of students and aligned with international standards.
Cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment conducive to academic growth.
Profil
Profile sought:
Teaching degree in science or related discipline.
Proven experience in secondary teaching, with preference given to those with a Cambridge University background.
Thorough knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE syllabuses and recommended teaching methodologies.
Ability to design dynamic and interactive courses, integrating innovative tools and approaches.
Proven organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Profil Recherché:
Diplôme d'enseignement en sciences ou discipline connexe.
Expérience avérée en enseignement au secondaire, avec une préférence pour ceux ayant suivi une formation dispensée par l'Université de Cambridge.
Connaissance approfondie des programmes Cambridge de l'IGCSE et des méthodologies pédagogiques recommandées.
Aptitude à concevoir des cours dynamiques et interactifs, intégrant des outils et des approches novateurs.
Compétences organisationnelles avérées et capacité à collaborer efficacement au sein d'une équipe multidisciplinaire.
Excellentes compétences de communication en français et en anglais.
